Job Purpose and Impact
The Sustainability Program Lead will lead a team to develop and execute the strategic sustainability initiatives with businesses, customers and other external stakeholders that drive progress in key environmental and social impact areas and deliver value to customers and commercial teams.
In this role, you will build partnerships with customers and suppliers across value chains, engage external organizations to advance sustainability frameworks and engage, educate and influence internal and external stakeholders to execute on the company's purpose to nourish the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way.
Key Accountabilities
Develop sustainability strategy and tactics for the assigned group, business and major supply chains or for the assigned sustainability topic area.
Develop supply chain policy, strategies and action plans in an integrated operating company approach.
Partner with commercial leaders to deploy strategies to gain value from sustainability with a variety of customers.
Lead the communication on sustainability policies and objectives to suppliers and customers with the purpose of the extension of our supply chain policies and requirements through our suppliers.
Lead the team to identify and work with external partners like nongovernmental organizations, foundations, universities and government offices for program design, implementation, securing additional funding and project work.
Represent the company in external senior level stakeholder forums and media for matters related to sustainability.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Technical knowledge in environmental, economic and social benefits of sustainable development
Experience in identifying customer needs and developing solutions
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Fluent in English
Three years of supervisory experience
Experience in trading/commodity segment
Previous experience in sustainability and commercial areas
