Key Responsibilities Ensures that software applications meet business requirements and system goals.
Can reproduce and provide STR for bugs reported by Clients and Client Relations Specialists.Can execute bug Investigations and bug tracking.Communicates Bugs and Fixes to Developers and Digital Producers.Provides Support for Client Relations team and Clients.Tests Documentation design (Check Lists, Bug Reports).Tests INSIDE software (Cross-Browser testing, Integration testing, GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Usability Testing, Beta Testing, Boundary Value Testing, Exploratory Testing, Negative Testing, Sanity Testing, Test Documentation design (Test Cases, Bug Plans, Check Lists), Functional Testing).Executes testing for new applications, products, and/or enhancements throughout development life cycles.Liaises with clients - must be strategic in approach and focused on business requirements.
Spots problems/bugs our engineers may have missed, before they reach our customers.Understands the technology from a user standpoint and effectively answers customer questions.Communicates with customers regarding quality related issues and complaints.Identifies any patterns or trends of support and/or performance issues and proactively leads discussions to remedy them.Follows established processes for defect tracking and reporting, including logging defects in a detailed and reproducible way.Represents QA on cross-functional project teams.Ensures that software meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications are met and implemented successfully.Analyzes formal test results in order to discover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.Works with the development team to ensure that software meets quality standards.Ensures that the product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-users' expectations.Communicates effectively with internal teams to identify system requirements and defects.Investigates customer complaints and product issues.Identities, records, documents thoroughly and tracks bugs.Monitors efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.Identifies procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.Spots areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or equivalent work experience.Minimum 2-3 years of software/application testing.Experience with software automation test tools, software design methodologies, automation frameworks platforms, and related systems and technologies.Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Azure DevOps is a plus.5+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a web application environment testing User Interfaces, Web services.Well-developed testing experience/solid troubleshooting skills.Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies, test phases, test plans, test scenarios development techniques and defects management.Demonstrated ability to work within deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication.Equipped with acute attention to detail; able to quickly identify problems and mistakes.Organized and able to juggle multiple deadlines and projects.A creative problem solver and systems thinker.
