We offer benefits that include 100% paid employee only medical insurance, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, paid sick days, paid vacation, and weekly pay.Pay: $22/hr.BASIC FUNCTION: Delivers materials to job site, inspects, and maintains truck, reports shortages, and claims to Material Manager and assists in loading and storing of materials.RESPONSIBILITIES:Promptly completes deliveries and returns to store in a timely mannerWorks on yard to assist customers between delivery assignmentsAssists yard workers in unloading and storing returned merchandiseAssists forklift operators with building delivery loadsActs with a sense of urgency to provide prompt service to customersRelays messages sent by customers during jobsite deliveriesMakes final check of delivery orders for accuracyObtains approval on all loads prior to departureDelivers and unloads orders to customer's satisfactionAccurately records merchandise returns and completes required paperworkOrganizes and secures loads for safe transportDrives safely on yard observing posted speed limitsMaintains safety devices in good working orderWears safety equipment and seat belts as directedOperates truck within all DOT guidelinesAssists with housekeeping in yard & warehouseSubmits pre-trip inspection forms in a timely mannerMakes a neat & clean presentation of material delivered to jobsitesCooperatively follows instructions from supervisorPresents a friendly and professional demeanorLICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:Valid operator's license and endorsement required to operate truck.
MUST HAVE CDL-A.Ability to pass drug screen and DOT physicalInsurability for drivingEXPERIENCE:6 months experience driving truck, prefer lumber experience
