The person in this role should already possess proven work experience and successful performance in sales or operations.
Under the supervision of the Global Director, Financial Services AWP, he/she will coordinate financing sales activities in the Latin America Region for the Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) business.
He/she will work directly with the Latin America Region Sales Team.
The focus of the role is to help drive finance penetration and high margin incremental sales volume while minimizing the impact on equipment margin across the spectrum of AWP customers.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate with Latin America AWP equipment sales, operations and customers on a daily basis.
- Develop training tools for AWP equipment sales team to broaden finance knowledge.
- Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative sales approach.
- Present finance programs to customers and LatAm AWP equipment sales team.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with LatAm AWP customers.
- Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit packages, and submit to TFS Credit.
- Work with TFS team and functional groups to close finance transactions.
- Evaluate success by measuring finance volume, penetration, and incremental sales.
- Attend industry trade shows (in person or virtually).
Accompany product sales teams to present and sell the benefits of using TFS as a solution to finance needs.
- Preparation and delivery of timely reporting to AWP & TFS management.
- Constant focus on improving efficiency & automation through the use of AWP IT systems.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant degree
- 5+ years of experience in sales, leasing/asset finance, or operations.
- 5+ years of working both with dealers/channel partners and end customers.
- Clean driving record
Preferred Requirements:
- Captive or Vendor financing preferred
- Self-motivated, high energy, and positive attitude
- Ability to work within a multi-functional team
- Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities and less structure.
- Proficient in using financial calculators and structuring lease and finance transactions.
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels
Language Requirements: English is essential, and a second language is desirable.
Travel: 30%
