Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Climate-Tech & Utility Solutions

Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, results-oriented SDR to join our client's dynamic Sales team. In this remote-first role, you will focus on developing new business opportunities within the North American utility sector. You will work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to engage prospects, understand their unique challenges, and drive qualified meetings that accelerate the transition to a safer grid.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospecting & Outreach:
* Conduct account-based research to identify key utility accounts, from large enterprises to smaller local providers.
* Utilize cold calling, email, and social selling strategies to engage potential clients.
* Lead Management:
* Follow up on leads from various channels, ensuring timely and effective communication.
* Maintain detailed, up-to-date CRM records (using HubSpot) with pertinent account insights and news.
* Discovery & Qualification:
* Engage prospects at multiple levels to uncover pain points and identify opportunities for our clients innovative solution.
* Qualify leads and schedule in-depth meetings for Account Executives.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor presentations and value propositions that resonate with the electrical utility industry's evolving needs.
* Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building brand presence and networking with key stakeholders.
Requirements
* Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years experience as an SDR (or similar role) within an enterprise SaaS/software environment, with a demonstrable track record of success.
* Experience with CRM systems and outbound sales tools is essential.
* Industry Insight:
* Familiarity with or interest in the North American electrical utility industry and its challenges.
* Remote Work & Collaboration:
* Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team.
* Language Proficiency:
* Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in early-stage startup environments (Series A Series C).
* Proven ability to present to and communicate effectively with executive audiences.
* Additional language skills are a plus.
