Our new strategy kickstarts a decade of delivery towards our #bpNetZero ambition.Operating within the Latin America Procurement Hub, the Procurement Manager in Brazil will lead, manage, and develop the procurement team in country, with possible support for other South American countries as required, to achieve best-in-class procurement performance.This role will oversee all procurement activities, ensuring alignment with regional and global sourcing strategies.
Key procurement categories include raw materials (such as base oils, additives, chemicals, and packaging), non-productive/indirect services, and external manufacturing.Will collaborate with the Supply organization to establish the best operational practices and will serve as a vital link to the business, managing cross-category integration and communication.IMPORTANT!

!Key Accountabilities Develop and deliver procurement methods for existing and new market entries in connection with business strategies.Establish effective procurement governance and clear accountable decision making within Brazil.Lead local negotiations and contracting processes integrating suppliers effectively, including contract manufacturing activities and managing the portfolio of contract manufacturers.Support the development of new sourcing opportunities, identifying the potential benefits and risks, planning and implementing projects to deliver value as well as exploring new market opportunities and analyzing industry dynamics providing timely supply market insights and analytics to the business.Develop new and maintain existing robust relationships with stakeholders and assess their satisfaction along with positive relationships with regional procurement category managers using their output to support improved segment strategies.Assist and oversee delegated sourcing, delivery of targeted savings, post-award supplier integration and market intelligence, relaying current and future impactful events and their potential consequences.Work with business, regional and global stakeholders to identify and apply best-in-class sourcing methods and potential opportunities to optimize costs and supply assurance.Provide and ensure procurement effective data, knowledge management, and systems/process support.Lead the Brazil procurement team, providing business context, coaching, and direction to meet its performance targets and aligned with regional control and consistency agenda.
Setting goals and objectives, defining and monitor critical metrics, managing and developing the team to high performance.Experience & Expertise Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or similar area of study.Minimum of 8 years' experience, with at least 4 years of supply chain and/or procurement experience.Previous management/supervisor experience is desirable.Knowledge of sourcing models and best practices, including experience with supplier performance management, contracting, and risk management.Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
