Sr. Brand Manager – Scotch Portfolio (Black&White, Buchanans, Old Parr, White Horse)
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven marketing leader to manage Scotch Portfolio brands with a proven track record in strategic thinking, consumer insights, brand development, and effective execution. This role requires someone who can navigate the full marketing process—from concept to execution — helping us define the future of White Horse, within portfolio, communication and cultural strategy development and execution while demonstrating strong business acumen, leadership, and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple workstreams (ATL/BTL plans) simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and excellence in every consumer interaction. We are looking for a balance of brand activation expertise, business insight, and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners across a fast-paced and competitive category. Impact, boldness, and creativity are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Scotch Portfolio strategy, including the development of a 5-year vision and annual business plans.
2. White Horse brand management – lead development and implementation of White Horse brand communication, events and cultural strategy based on consumer insights, cultural trends, and market dynamics.
3. Manage the annual planning process, ensuring alignment with growth drivers, market share, financial goals, and the delivery of brand and communication plans.
4. Collaborate with creative agencies, global and local brand teams, Customer Marketing, Market Insights, and Innovation to design and execute comprehensive brand plans across Media, Culture, Activation, On-Trade, Off-Trade, and Events.
5. Lead and mentor a brand team, fostering talent development and encouraging a collaborative, high-performance culture.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have:
1. A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in brand management.
2. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in dynamic and complex environments.
3. Strong execution capabilities with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
4. Strong drive, delivery and determination. Proven ability to think strategically and drive long-term business growth across a complex and broad portfolio.
5. High levels of accountability and autonomy.
6. Creative flair and consumer back obsession, reflected in outstanding creative work.
7. Having the ability to fast adapt to changes and make all actions tangible measuring impact and results with clear learnings.
8. Written and verbal communication skills in English.
