Whizara is looking for passionate curriculum developers to further enhance its curriculum for cultural diversity education for K-12 students. This position is responsible for designing and developing an innovative engaging curriculum that teaches cultures of the world in a fun project-based learning approach.
**Job responsibilities**:
- Key contributor for curricula for one or more grade bands
- Develop the curriculum vision and plan to make students relate to and appreciate the diverse cultures of the world
- Design well structured comprehensive lesson plans for inquiry based and project-based learning, incorporating pedagogy, learning activities, and assessments to measure accomplishment of lesson objectives
- Obtain feedback on lesson performance from instructors to ensure the learning objectives and student outcomes are achieved
- Identify areas for curricular or pedagogy updates as needed to ensure top notch learning experience and outcome
- Incorporate the latest and the greatest learning tools to provide the best learning outcome for Whizara students
**Job requirements**:
- Must hold a certification or degree in Social Studies/Cultural Study
- Must have prior experience in teaching and conversant with Inquiry-based and project-based learning
- Conversant with K-12 Common Core standards
- Conversant with pedagogies used for teaching online courses
- Conversant with the latest tools for curriculum design and instruction delivery
