We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead our Brazil affiliate with base in Sao Paulo. Your main responsibilities and accountabilities will also include:
- Ensuring compliance adherence with legal, regulatory, professional, and ethical standards
- Establishing strategic directions for an already high performing team and ensure execution to achieve desired outcomes
- Leading and developing strong leadership team through coaching and leading by example
- Identifying new business and revenue opportunities to secure profitable growth
- Managing partner selection, negotiation, and contracting process
- Managing ongoing partner relationship
- Work cross functionally with HQ functions to achieve pre-established objectives.
Main tasks:
- Ensure activities comply with legal, regulatory, professional, and ethical standards
- Establish and maintain a suitable organisation that meets the needs of the business
- Establish direction: Develop the vision and strategies to achieve the identified vision, set and communicate long term direction of the Company and ensure that the short-term goals, objectives, and tasks are aligned and adequately prioritized
- Provide leadership and guidance to the local team and work closely with HR in talent management and development
- Identify business and revenue opportunities with regards to new and existing businesses from prospective and current customers to meet sales objectives and generate profitable revenue and market share growth and improve strategic positioning for future business successes
- Engage, drive, develop, motivate, and manage relationships with different functions and cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure successful business execution
- Instil a culture of high performance, quality, ownership, and accountability within the workplace. Develop a customer and patient focus mindset in the team
- Complete partnering process in accordance with existing procedure
- Partner Management:
- Lead, develop and drive the partner management activities to achieve the organization’s goals, including achieving sales targets via partners
- Ensure implementation of strategic and tactical brand plans via partners and manage partner relationships
- Drive the development and implementation of the sales plans, set up and manage distribution sales
- Ensure accurate and timely access to forecasting/budgeting and market data information
- Ensure proper training of partner organizations
Qualifications and other requirements for this role:
- 8-10 years of experience in driving business growth in local pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum 8 years of experience in leading a team
- Minimum 8 years of partner management
- University degree in Business Management of Life Sciences specialty or equivalent
- Fluent in English, both in oral and in written communications
