Primary Functions is to plan and conduct audits for all ABS QE audit programs as per relevant program requirement, maintain audit independence, and complete the audit report and other required post-audit activities.
May also be required to perform any other necessary duties within their experience and capabilities from time to time.
What You Will Do: Review management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards.Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits.Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation.Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification.Lead introductory and closing meetings at clients facilities.Provide coaching to Auditors in the performance of their duties.Set high standards to achieve results.Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.Additional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in each program procedure.What You Will Need: Education and Experience Previous Experience with SGI OR ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 OR ISO 27001 OR SA 8000 OR CSR Programs APSCA CSCA – CertificationCompleted and approved Lead Auditor course in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001.Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering/technical discipline, or equivalent quality experience.Previous experience with Quality Control/Quality Assurance/Environmental/Safety & Health related activities including auditing experience.Minimum five (5) years of experience preferred in industry.Familiarity with appropriate system standards.
Competent in the areas to be assessed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent decision making and organizational skills.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Ability to work with moderate supervision.Exhibit teamwork.Concerning the accuracy of work performed.Flexible in achieving duties.Ability to obtain working knowledge of the ABS Quality Evaluations Quality & Environmental Management System.It Would Be Nice If You Had: RAB QSA / IRCA Assessor status preferred.Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Operations / Country / District Manager and has no direct reports.
