L2 Technical Support Consultant & Backend Engineer
Are you a skilled Java developer with a passion for problem-solving and customer support? This role involves providing L2 technical support to customers, developing and maintaining backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB, and communicating with developers and other departments to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technology
* Provide L2 support to customers, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
* Develop and maintain backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB
* Gather data to ensure the required technical information is collected to resolve even more complex tickets
* Ensure customers' satisfaction with any interaction
* Maintain working knowledge of our client's products and services
* Securely work with customers' sensitive information
* Communicate with developers and other departments to identify and troubleshoot technical issues
Requirements:
* Excellent English communication skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written)
* 2+ years experience in back-end software development
* Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB
* Good understanding of on-premise IT infrastructure, load balancers, queues, and clustering
* Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, pragmatic, and caring attitude with a can-do approach
* Personal laptop or computer (at least 8Gb of RAM) and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps-download and 40 Mbps-upload)
Bonus Requirements:
* Experience with Kafka, Groovy, and container environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
* Knowledge of performance tuning techniques
* Understanding of financial sector derivatives
