The mandate for this position is to grow sales through existing business and/or finding and closing new business. Achieving revenue, order, mix and price targets through effective sales management, including time & territory management, pre-call planning, opportunity funnel management and account management strategy development.
Responsibilities:
* Engages internal leadership team members to ensure alignment, resource prioritization and participation in portfolio strategy.
* Partners with Operations, Development & Engineering and Global Supply teams to ensure optimal execution to ensure commitments with customers are fulfilled as agreed.
* Grow portfolio revenue.
* Uses strategic negotiation and sales strategies with customers to retain and grow accounts by presenting strategic solutions to customers.
* Retain accounts
* Identify/acquire new accounts in portfolio
* Prospecting/Explore new markets & segments
* Uses strategic negotiation and sales strategies with customers to acquire accounts by presenting strategic solutions to customers.
* Ensure post-sales customer satisfaction
* Train Customer
* Facilitate Issue resolution
* Acts as an advocate for customers, conveying their customer-specific needs to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources
* Identify and provide input for market trends and articulate the customer’s needs perspective for product & service improvement purposes
* Collaborates and actively communicates with Operations, Development & Engineering and Global Supply teams to identify strategic solutions for complex issues.
* Prospecting, Discovery, Opportunity Identification, Solutioning, Proposal, Closing
* Ensure countermeasures are in place when required
Requirements:
* 6 to 8 years of experience in industrial sales management
* Sound marketing and financial background
* Sound understanding of injection molding, products and market
* Strong Business acumen
* Solid Project Management skills
* In-depth experience of injection molding.
* Travel is essential with understanding and open-mindedness to different cultures
* Excellent knowledge of customer business model
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
