Amazon Logistics' team is looking for a Team Lead to join AMZL Brazil team in our Delivery Station in Contagem - Minas Gerais.
As a Team Lead you will oversee the day-afternoon shift in one of our last mile delivery stations, providing leadership to operators and managing performance of key KPIs.
Your will wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment that's more start-up than big company.

The role entails:
- Being based in one of our delivery stations.
Amazon runs a 24-7 operation, therefore working in shifts will form part of this role, including weekends and holidays.
- Creating and cultivating a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities across your work area.
- Managing and training our Associates to help deliver the best service for our customers.
- Ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled following safety and quality guidelines.
- Continuously providing critical shift related information to operators.
- Engaging with support functions and/or other departments to address common issues or needs in key areas of performance e.g.
process area readiness, 5S, safety, training.
- Monitoring progress of routes, acting proactively to identify and correct deviations and adjust, focusing on exceeding customer expectation and Leading meetings, assigning job duties and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
- Working with KPIs such as On Time Dispatch, First Day Delivery Success and enhancing customer service.
- Being obsessed by metrics and diving deep to find root causes quickly to drive improvements.
- Finding practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.
- Providing day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes and gather feedback.
- Continuously utilize software and hardware tools to ensure normal day to day operations.
Ensuring associates have proper tools to perform the job and coordinate repair or replacement when needed.
- Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to other departments in Operations and throughout Amazon as necessary.
- Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field.
- Ability to influence others without having positional authority.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
