Responsibilities Corporate Legal Spearhead commercial & corporate (e.g. corporate/financial regulatory, labour, tax) legal matters and ensure compliance with all applicable legislations, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures including aligning with the Group Head of L&C in Singapore; Conduct analysis, collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. external legal advisors) and provide legal opinions to senior management on commercial & corporate aspects; Draft, review and negotiate corporate documents and commercial contracts of various types and complexities; Provide legal and regulatory advice of a preventive nature, assessing risks and recommending suitable solutions for business needs. Compliance Draft, review and monitor compliance policies, standards and operational procedures, including management and implementation of corporate routines, governance and internal execution procedures; Monitor and comply with regulatory obligations including updates from time to time (e.g. BACEN, CVM and Anbima); Other ad-hoc tasks assigned. Governance Coordinate tasks in collaboration with Governance team at IHQ; Set & maintain policies and procedures, coordinate with and educate our employees on compliance related topics, and make sure to align with those; Lead internal audit process; Supervise junior staff. Skills and Qualifications Active OAB membership; Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese & Professional English (At least CEFR C1); Solid experience in Corporate Law; Solid knowledge and experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate documents, and providing timely response to contractual Legal queries; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a good ability to liaise with different counterparties; High analytical skills and logical structure; Proactivity, availability and autonomy in carrying out responsibilities; Project management skills, and ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders in parallel, not losing attention to detail; Advanced skills in Microsoft Office package. Differentials Postgraduate degree in Business Law, Contracts or Banking; Knowledge of Financial Market Regulations (BACEN); Experience in companies with an international structure.
