The role includes strong knowledge of business processes and supporting systems to ensure the ERP Finance team meets and exceeds business stakeholder needs.
The position is a key liaison between our ERP solutions, the line-of-business Treasury and Hedging teams.
This position defines and drives the tactical, day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and mapping business processes through modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states.
The BPE must be able to bridge the IT and business domains and effectively communicate between each side.
The BPE will thoroughly understand the Corteva Agriscience Treasury and Hedging business strategy and processes in order to participate in managing the Finance Product Roadmap.
This position can be located within any of the four global regions; EMEA, APAC, LATAM or North America.
If located within 50 miles of any of our Global Business Centers (GBC's), a hybrid schedule is offered.
If outside of 50 miles from any of our GBC's, the position can be 100% remote/virtual.
Travel - This person may need to travel to different global regions, roughly 15%.
**Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!
**
- Primary IT point of contact across S/4HANA global implementation spanning multiple countries over North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific for SAP Treasury and Hedging.
- Understand business processes related to Financial Instruments hedging, such as intercompany loans and derivatives e.g.
FX options and FX forwards, or Commodities hedging.
- Translate process design to systems design on the SAP S/4HANA and SAP-ECC platforms.
- Definition and configuration of system functionality required to meet system design.
- Write system design documents, including detailed design, technical design, update requirements traceability, and test scenarios, cases.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of system in meeting requirements, including unit-testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Identify & define process and systems' dependencies while implementing new SAP functionality in the context of ongoing enterprise business and IT initiatives.
- Understand requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, provide estimates, suggest process and technology improvements.
- Write functional design document, and work with developers to explain technical requirements.
- Manage the quarterly upgrade process through evaluation, regression testing, and deployment.
- Help with SAP-Treasury Security role definition.
- SAP-Treasury solution scope includes integration with peripheral solution like SAP-TPI, MBC, and other cloud-based financial services from SAP and non-SAP.
- Prefer solution design experience demonstrating understanding and handling of various Treasury business processes' design and SAP integration experience with 3rd party platforms like Serrala, FIS, 360T, IT2, Bloomberg etc.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
CPA / CFA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience implementing SAP-TR or alternatively, similar large enterprise Treasury platforms like Quantum, GTreasury, Temenos, IT2 etc.
**Experience**
- Prior domain or functional experience with Treasury and Hedging functions in large companies.
- Understanding of how derivatives work in SAP is needed, using FX Option or FX Forward derivatives as underlying instruments.
Experience with commodities futures, margin payments, or options instruments would be useful.
- Ability to research requirements, solutions, evaluate alternative approaches, and present recommended solution in SAP, or similar Treasury systems.
- Ability to work in high-pressure project environment with speed & agility.
- Strong attention to detail and quality/accuracy of deliverables, preferring outcomes over outputs.
- Demonstrated effectiveness and ability to work independently, and drive results with peers, stakeholders, and customers.
- Acts honestly and professionally, ability to handle highly confidential and time-sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask under mínimal supervision.
- Decisive ability to recognize when to act and when to escalate.
