Experience different aspects of our portfolio and develop with encouraging leadership.What you'll be doing:Own the accounting department and tax-related matters, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and the relevant laws and regulations handle all tax-related issues.Attend audit processes and review equity reconciliations and changes in the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring adherence to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) rules, and taking corrective action where vital to maintain compliance.Prepare and run financial statements.Lead all aspects of the fiscal, accounting, and financial reports (Brazilian GAAP) to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and to provide management with the information they need to make informed decisions.Handle Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and various projects.Ensure compliance with the latest Brazilian tax reform.What you'll bring:Bachelor in finance, accounting, and meaningful work experience.Proven demonstrated ability in the related activities for at least 5 years.Active registration at the regional accounting council (valid CRC number).Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (mainly Excel).Intermediate English is a must.Desirable knowledge of JD Edwards.Knowledge of databases is desirable.Knowledge of accounting legislation in Brazil.We understand compensation is a meaningful factor as you consider the next step in your career.
