YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESData Privacy:
Provide advice on general, recurring questions in the area of Data Privacy, including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policies as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals as determined by Specialist/TL.
Provide advice and contribute to approval workflows for Events as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Legal:
Provide advice on general, recurring legal questions as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Others:
Support and monitor the roll out and participation in LPC driven web-based trainings.
Support trainings for data privacy topics as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Support LPC driven communication campaigns as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC as determined by OM/TL/Specialist.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by OM/TL/Specialist.
WHO YOU AREAcademic degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, controlling/audit or related discipline.
At least one year of professional experience after graduation, in the area of data privacy or legal work for an international law firm or a multinational company.
Advanced English level both spoken and written (C1).
Costa Rica candidates require Portuguese level B2, and Spanish native speaking or comparable level.
Brazil candidates require Spanish level B2, and Portuguese native speaking or comparable level.
Good communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyers.
Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player.
Open to work with foreign cultures.
Basic knowledge of Compliance Management Systems (desirable).
Basic knowledge on data privacy, anti-corruption, anti-trust, or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry is helpful.
Process and IT affinity.
Good knowledge of MS Office, and handling of management tools.
