About the role
The Director, Earth & Environment, Brazil will oversee and contribute to the overall success of the area, exceed client expectations and support talent development .
Main Responsibilities:
·Act as a senior consultative business partner by providing expert advice, guidance and support based on a specialty functional area or to the operations; key relationships include senior leaders and/or key clients.
·Direct a broad functional area or operations, providing leadership and direction through managers and direct reports.
·Oversee and influences the risks associated with making a profit and ensuring compliance with Ausenco’ s established procedures and risk profile within the functional area or operations.
·Contribute to the performance, profitability, and growth of Ausenco’ s business.
·Lead the hiring, performance management, pay increase recommendations and separations within the functional area or operations.
·Approve and oversee changes to practices and establishes procedures within the function or operations.
·Lead the local growth strategy in the E&E Services
·Establish solid long-term client relationship
·Assure a reliable and predictable results (monthly, quarterly, and annual performance)
·Work on problems or assignments of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
·Assess, adjust and modify business plans and strategy over the mid-term duration for functional areas or operations and contributes to priorities and strategies.
·Ensure that projects maintain, realistic and accurate projections of manpower requirements and financial performance.
·Maintain awareness of BD pipeline to adequately plan resources in conjunction with the various Discipline/Department Managers for timely execution of projects.
·Work in accordance and promote Ausenco’s values, demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding safety, sustainability, client, people, and financial accountabilities.
·Collaborate with other business lines within Ausenco promoting work as one Ausenco, also promoting the work of E&E with other business lines and finding opportunities to provide clients with a broader service offering.
·Design the strategy for the future of the E&E business aligned with the goals and objectives of the Global E&E strategy.
About you:
Work Experience
·15+ years of experience in a similar role with past responsibility for operations/project management in a complex department/division/organization.
·Previous experience in engineering consultancy or professional services related to environmental services and sustainability.
·Previous leadership experience.
Educational Background
·Professional Completion of a university degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Environmental Sciences or similar.
Technical Training and Knowledge
·Proficient English Level
