Job Purpose and Impact
The Capital Project Manager is a key member of the Latin America team focused to implement the global capital strategy.
This role is a key partner of our Finance Operations colleagues, driving for a One Finance Team culture.
This position is for an advanced professional with broad plant, capital and fixed asset knowledge and will be a key partner for senior operations leaders.
This role is responsible for leading, advising and making decisions on complex activities for capital spending, project management and fixed assets.
Activities include accounting processes, procedures and compliance for capital spending, systems and data management, project portfolio performance, talent development, and resource management.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee Enterprise Capital spending processes - Utilizes extensive knowledge of the business and accounting principles to assist stakeholders with questions regarding capital spending and performance.
Reviews and analyzes complex/significant capital projects.
Drive continuous improvement and optimization of capital spending activities including further migration of activities to Finance Ops.
- Lead the team to identify value creation opportunities within the plant operations space regionally and contribute to plans to drive the execution across various regional or plants.
- Collaborate with business operations leaders to provide financial information for business performance.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business operating environment and performance and provide finance business partnership on strategic priorities, challenges and impacts for the assigned plant management teams.
- Develop and manage relationships with business leadership and business team

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance and other related areas
- Solid experience in accounting
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Fluent English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
Preferred qualifications
- Three years of supervisory experience
