**Summary / purpose of the position**
**Within the framework of Ipsen Brazil’s business objectives and approved budgets, develop and execute the brand and operational plans for Palovarotene to achieve financial and marketing objectives.**
**Define strategies and contribute to business decisions around Palovarotene product’s indications.**
**Drive the readiness and execution plans for the launch of Palovarotene and potential new rare disease products’ indications.**
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
- **Brand Strategy and Execution**:
- Develop strategic and operational plans for Palovarotene in collaboration with the cross functional brand team.
- Lead the execution of the marketing elements of the strategic and operational plans.
- Creation of approved promotional materials and marketing initiatives and programmes.
- Engage with the field force in the implementation of tactical initiatives within the strategic and operational plans, including time in the field.
- Deliver a robust customer profiling, segmentation and targeting approach to ensure effective and efficient resource allocation, which drives sales results.
- **
Develop Market Insights**:
- Utilize direct customer and stakeholder engagement to identify, explore and capitalize on key market opportunities.
- Support ongoing market and sales analysis to identify and communicate key market dynamics impacting performance.
- Support market research and advisory board activities to deliver and track product and market insights.
- Directly engage customers to ensure thorough understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, behaviors and perceptions.
- **
Account Management**:
- Act as a role model within the account management process from account prioritization through to delivery of activities.
- Closely monitor activities and sales results within priority accounts and propose/deliver corrective actions where needed.
- Undertake time in the field, developing relationships with priority customers and accounts to impact prescribing behaviors and deliver improvements to market share.
- Prepare and support Medical and Market Access areas on TL/KOL mapping and rare disease key stakeholders in Academy, public and private reference centers, as well as payers and disease state initiatives, e.g. MoH public FOP programs.
- **
Forecasting and Financial Management**:
- Build and deliver accurate 12-month and 5-year demand, sales and resource allocation forecasts.
- Lead monthly sales and expenditure projections.
- Monitor brand performance and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Help monitor expenses, optimize resources allocation and return on investment.
- Focus marketing resources and investments for maximum return on investment.
- Partner with Finance, Supply/Tech Operations, and Business Unit Head to ensure accurate and timely manufacturing forecasts and stock replenishment plans.
- **
New and Future Indications**:
- Develop excellent launch plans for new indications in collaboration with cross functional team.
- Execution of the marketing elements or launch plans, whilst influencing and leading indication launch teams cross functionally.
- Contribute to business case development and approval for new products’ indications in collaboration with Business Unit Head and cross functional team.
- Contribute as a valued team member to future indication launch readiness project teams (led by medical).

**Knowledge, abilities & experience**
Education / Certifications:
- Scientific or Business Degree.
**Experience**:
- At least 5 years pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- Experience in successfully launching new drugs and indications, preferably in the Rare Diseases Therapeutic Area.
- Experience implementing an account management approach to the marketing of Rare Diseases brands, preferably including experience with Ministry of Health programs, centralized purchase process, PDPs, etc.
- Proven track record of working with pharmaceutical specialized products, preferably within Rare Diseases in the Brazilian market and with therapeutics used by relevant physicians.
- Existing relationships with relevant physicians in Brazil (preferred).
