Purpose of the Job: Support the local Procurement organization by understanding and anticipating departmental needs, implementing sourcing strategies, optimizing the supplier base, and managing supplier contracts. Lead category strategy, analyze products/services portfolios, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Conduct biddings and negotiations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Negotiate optimal terms and continuously seek innovative solutions to deliver value to the company.
Your Day to Day
* Liaise with local departments to understand their needs and implement sourcing strategies.
* Optimize the local supplier base and manage supplier contracts.
* Lead category strategy considering regional business requirements and supply market trends.
* Conduct biddings and negotiations to ensure supply network efficiency and sustainability.
* Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve the best commercial model.
* Collaborate with peers and category managers to synergize products/services.
* Identify and implement price and productivity initiatives.
* Manage supplier performance through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
* Ensure compliance with Procurement Policy and regional sourcing practices.
* Collaborate effectively with SSC and remote colleagues.
* Integrate sustainability into the procurement process by selecting environmentally and socially responsible suppliers.
What are we looking for:
* University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in operations categories.
* Advanced English.
* Skills:
o Strategy: Risk management, KPI utilization.
o Supply Base: Screening, analysis, negotiation, performance assessment, SRM.
o Category & Spend Management: Data analysis, market information consolidation, cost model analysis.
o Legal & Compliance: Creation and monitoring of agreements, understanding of procurement procedures.
o Processes & Systems: Execution and analysis of RFx, understanding of P2P processes, regular application utilization.
