A little bit about our team:
The People team sits at the heart of Warner Music Group and is focused on attracting, retaining, and developing exceptional people, enabling them to be the best they can be to drive Warner’s continued success in the marketplace. The team designs, implements and facilitates People & Culture programs around Recruitment, Management & Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and HR Processes & Policies. Our team also partners with the business to support key organizational initiatives. Your role:
We are looking for a creative, culturally curious and commercially oriented leader to partner with our business and transform the employee experience in our Brazil office. You’ll be a driver of change, growth-minded and relentless in your focus to deliver on our employee value proposition and to hire, develop and retain the very best talent. You’ll exercise extraordinary stakeholder management skills, dual reporting through to our Brazilian business leadership team and our LatAm People team, and your cultural curiosity and influence will yield great ideas and pragmatic ways to deliver our people agenda.
Here you’ll get to:
5. Serve as the primary people team contact for Brazil while also working closely with the regional VP, People - Latin America to successfully deliver programs, initiatives and cycles that enhance the employee experience.
6. Roll out key people processes including policy introduction and oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
7. Oversee daily people operations, including data management, onboarding, terminations, employee relations, and compensation changes.
8. Exercise a data-driven approach, using insight to identify trends and inform decisions.
9. Understand and align with the business model, goals, vision, and culture to contribute to organizational development and people & culture priorities.
10. Be courageous in inspiring change across our Brazilian team(s), transforming culture, evangelizing a unified vision for our People and workplace and transforming the business.
11. Lead talent management and organizational development efforts to modernize and enhance the workplace.
12. Proactively champion the DEI, EVP and ESG agendas and ensure activities align to this and local ERGs are supported and connected to leadership.
13. Navigate complex team dynamics and environments, influencing business leadership to evolve local culture positively.
14. Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments by reviewing timecards and updating payroll systems.
15. Oversee the internship program, providing meaningful tasks and projects to develop interns’ skills.
16. Participate in and lead various people & culture projects and initiatives, aligning them with business objectives.
17. Partner with global people team members to manage matrixed complexities relating to global teams with Brazilian based resources, keeping stakeholders appraised and engaged.
18. Formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added services reflecting the business's objectives.
19. Maintain effective level of business literacy about business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
20. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and people teams within the organization.
21. Navigate complex situations, environments and team dynamics including reorganizations, ER cases etc.
22. Identify reward strategies that recognize high performance, innovation and creativity.
About you:
23. 8+ years of proven experience in HR Management with strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
24. You’re resilient and able to take on complex situations with enthusiasm and a sense of calm.
25. You exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence and awareness.
26. Project management and delivery capabilities – you’re highly organized.
27. You exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence and awareness.

29. You have a high tolerance of ambiguity and are flexible to business needs.
30. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
31. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is desirable.
32. Proficiency in HR and payroll systems
33. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
34. Ability to navigate complex situations and influence leadership.
We’d love it if you also had:
35. Recorded music industry experience or entertainment sector.
36. University degree in business management or related.
37. Experience of cloud-based HR systems (Workday).
