Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, alteration or reconstruction on an item (including inspection) on aircraft and their assemblies (Ref: RBAC 43.3(b),RBAC 43.15(a)).Carry out the services in accordance with the provisions of the aeronautical legislation in force, the MOM (Maintenance Organization Manual), the MCQ (Quality Control Manual) of Helibras and the data provided in the Manuals of the manufacturers of the aircraft, engines and components.Use methods, techniques and practices established in the latest revision of the manufacturer's maintenance manual, or in the instructions for continued airworthiness prepared by the manufacturer or other methods, techniques and practices approved by Helibras. (RBAC 43.13 (a)) Ensure that the materials used in the execution of the services comply with the requirements of the legislation and the manufacturer's standards. (RBAC 43.13 (b)).Perform an inspection or other maintenance specified in an airworthiness delimitation section of a manufacturer's maintenance manual, or other instructions for continued airworthiness, in accordance with that section. (RBAC 43.16) Comply with manufacturer's service bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) issued by Aeronautical Authorities (Ref: IS 39-001, item 5-10).Supervising a non-qualified person carrying out maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations (not including inspections) in accordance with the prerogatives of their license and training (Ref: RBAC 43.3(d), RBAC 145.153) Providing support to JR to PL Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics and Mechanic's Helpers in their services, guiding them in accordance with the Work Orders (OS) and maintenance manual, so that they carry out their tasks accurately and assertively. Assisting in the training and development of staff with less experience in the area, providing technical, operational and practical instruction and/or guidance.To provide technical support services for innovation activities, through the implementation and maintenance of facilities or equipment intended for the execution of research, development or technological innovation projects.Act as Inspection Delegate, when designated to do so. Approve the return to service of aircraft, when holding Airframe and Powerplant Qualification (RBAC 43.7(b), RBAC 145.157(a)) Be proficient in the applicable civil aviation regulations and proficient in the use of the various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools appropriate to the work being performed and approved for return to service. (Ref: RBAC 145.157(b-2)).Approve the return to service of aircraft that have undergone major repair or major alteration (RBAC 43.7(i), RBAC 43 Appendix B) Record the services performed and/or supervised in accordance with current legislation, using the forms defined by the company through the MOM/MCQ.(RBAC 43.9 and 43.11) Record the execution and approval of the return to service of aircraft subjected to Major Repair and/or Major Alterations, using form F-400-04 (SEGVOO001). (Ref: RBAC 43, Appendix B) Record the execution and approval of the return to service of articles (components) after maintenance, preventive maintenance, reconditioning, modification or repair, using the Authorized Release Certificate, form F-100-01 (SEGVOO003).(Ref: IS 43.9-002).Keep their workstation clean and organized, collecting all the waste produced during their work at the end of the day and disposing of it in a suitable place.
