**Overview**:
The Supplier Quality Engineering area at Alstom is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers meet the strict quality standards required by the company.
This team conducts audits, evaluations, and continuous monitoring of suppliers' production processes, ensuring that the components and services provided meet technical and regulatory specifications.
Additionally, the area strives to promote continuous improvement through collaborative partnerships, analysis of non-conformities, and the implementation of effective quality control methods.
The goal is to ensure excellence and reliability in the supply chain, contributing to the overall quality of Alstom products.
**Job responsibilities**:
- **Receiving Inspection**: Conduct inspections upon the arrival of components and materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- **Report Issuance**: Produce clear and concise reports on inspections and activities conducted, for internal use and for stakeholders.
- **Support in Inspections and Measurements**: Assist in inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges, ensuring the accuracy of results.
- **Support for Quality Indicators**: Assist in maintaining and analyzing quality indicators, contributing to process improvement.
- **NCR Management**: Monitor the response time for non-conformities (NCRs), ensuring their prompt resolution.
- **Backlog Analysis**: Participate in analyzing the backlog of non-conformities, collaborating on prioritization and resolution of outstanding issues.
- **Supplier Monitoring in the Factory**: Work alongside suppliers to identify non-conformities.

**Competencies**:
- Students of Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
with expected graduation in December/25 or later.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Desirable knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.
- Desirable awareness of quality tools such as 8D, Pareto, Fishbone, 5 Whys, 5W+2H, etc.
**Language skills**
- Portuguese - Fluent/Native
- English - intermediate
