With a strong focus on Marketing, but also on Product & Growth, this unit will drive an omnichannel communication strategy and ecosystem creation within Mexico's and the region's industrial B2B sector.Role SummaryWe are seeking a Head of Digital Business to lead a unit with the goal of creating value for the Latin American industry through content, market intelligence, and positioning—both online and offline. This individual will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the unit, directly influencing areas such as marketing, product, and growth. The role involves leading a team of marketing specialists, setting deadlines, ensuring quality, and executing the strategic vision. Additionally, with a hands-on approach, this individual will organize commercial strategies, webinars, partnerships, and other channels to advance Mercai's B2B marketing efforts.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage an internal marketing team and external agencies.Develop and achieve the tactical goals of our attraction, conversion, and retention workflows .Responsible for the strategy and execution of the Mercai brand in the industrial sector through both digital and offline approaches.Lead and grow the future multidisciplinary team, maintaining a hiring and talent retention pipeline.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.Manage the unit's budget, ensuring resource optimization and return on investment.Negotiate with suppliers and partners to maximize value and efficiency of marketing activities.Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.Analyze data and metrics to evaluate results and make evidence-based decisions.Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Sales, Product, and Customer Service, to ensure an integrated strategy.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering.A postgraduate degree or MBA in related areas is a plus.5+ years of experience with a track record of leading zero-to-one projects.Proven success in developing and implementing integrated marketing and growth strategies.Experience managing budgets and forecasts.Knowledge of market research techniques and consumer insights.Ability to present complex ideas and reports in a clear and persuasive manner.Strong leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.Fluency in English and Spanish.BenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive commission scheme.Opportunities for growth and professional development.Additional benefits, such as medical and life insurance.Collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
