**Job Description**:
The Senior Benefits Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations for Latin America benefit plans.
Vialto currently has employees in 4 Latin American countries.
This role is integral to ensuring that the company's benefit plans are running smoothly and includes interaction with employees and HR Partner inquiries.
High-touch customer service is a critical success factor.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Handle the day-to-day administration and analysis of the Company's Latin American benefit plans and programs
- Responsible for benefits queries - take appropriate action to direct or solve escalated benefit issues; research, troubleshoot and provide timely resolution
- Conduct new hire benefits orientations and assist with enrollment in benefits programs and retirement savings plans
- Coordinate the open enrollment timelines and process which includes facilitating presentations to employees
- Work with vendors and HRIS to ensure accuracy in transmission of eligibility and enrollment files
- Process employee benefits events in HRIS and vendor systems and maintain benefits data in HRIS and vendor systems
- Serves as an advisor on leave of absence programs to coach and guide company managers on protocols and resources
- Assist with the formulation of policies and procedures
- Interpret benefit plan provisions, policies, and procedures - makes sure all benefits communications are up-to date
- Ensure benefits programs comply with the laws and regulations of Latin America
- Conduct reconciliations and audits
- Provide administrative support to Benefits team.
**Qualifications**:
**Qualification and Education Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years related experience in providing Benefits administrative support services
- Courses leading to IFEBP designation, nice to have
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in English, Spanish and Portuguese with strong client focus.
- Experience with benefits enrollment/administration systems and HRIS is required
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Broad knowledge of modern computerized information management systems such as Google Office suites and cloud sharing technology would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Proven ability to stay organized, set priorities, learn quickly, and inspire confidence
- Ability to complete multiple projects within established deadlines and work well under pressure
