Responsible for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company. Involved in the development of operational strategy, KPIs, and ongoing development and monitoring. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESFINANCIAL ANALYSIS, BUDGETING AND FORECASTINGOversee region financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by agency and country; forecast vs. budget by agency and country.Review and analyze with countries CFOs monthly financial results and provide recommendations.Identify, develop, and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches, and/or new service offerings to our clients.Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.Manage financial planning and analysis department. Supervise creation of reports for budgeting and forecasting.ACCOUNTING, ADMINISTRATION, OPERATIONS & INTERNAL CONTROLSSupervise the regional accounting to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial internal systems (reporting).Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures around the region.Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting.Oversee the region month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Review regional all month-end closing activities, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.FINANCIAL MANAGEMENTOversee the region cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.Oversee cash, investments, and asset management area.Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.STRATEGY, PLANNING & MANAGEMENTRegional strategic business partner to senior executive leadership team.Assess and evaluate regional financial performance of organization regarding long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.Communicate, engage, and interact with Regional Board of Directors, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team.Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion.Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team across the region.Recruit, interview, and hire countries CFOs (direct report).EMPLOYEE PROFILEQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum of 15 years of proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role.In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. Previous experience in financial risk management and growth strategies.Extensive knowledge of financial and tax regulations in the region.Strong preference for candidates with a proven track record of financial leadership roles in publicly traded companies. Experience with the financial reporting and compliance requirements associated with publicly traded entities is essential.Extensive experience in managing financial processes and controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or similar regulatory frameworks.
