QA Analyst (Mid-Level) – Hybrid/Remote
We are looking for a QA Analyst/Tester to join our team at Lopti! This role is primarily remote, but if you are in the region, we love to have occasional in-person work.
About the Role
As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by designing and executing manual and automated tests. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify bugs, enhance test coverage, and improve software quality.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for ensuring seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities
* Test Planning & Execution: Design, execute, and document test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
* Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress to improve test efficiency.
* Manual Testing: Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing to identify and report defects.
* API Testing: Validate REST and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman or Newman.
* Performance & Load Testing: Conduct basic performance testing using tools like JMeter or Lighthouse to evaluate application responsiveness.
* Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Xray, ensuring effective communication with development teams.
* Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria, improve test coverage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
* CI/CD & Automation Integration: Contribute to test automation within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins) to enable faster releases.
* Cross-Browser & Mobile Testing: Ensure application compatibility across multiple devices, browsers, and platforms.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in software testing and QA
* Experience with test case design, execution, and bug tracking
* Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
* Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Newman)
* Understanding of CI/CD testing processes
* Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Lighthouse)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
* Fluent English (required)
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of security testing fundamentals
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
* Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave)
