Project Procurement Manager – Oil & Gas (EPCI) Location: Rio de Janeiro
Industry: Oil & Gas – EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) ICM is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join a major company in the Oil & Gas - EPCI sector. About the Role: As a Project Procurement Manager, you will lead and oversee procurement activities throughout project execution. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team, including Buyers, Package Managers, Expeditors, Inspection Coordinators, Logistics Coordinators, and Material Controllers, ensuring all procurement activities align with project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
FPSO experience is a plus, but EPCI procurement expertise is a must! Key Responsibilities: WIN Phase (Proposal & Pre-Award): ? Develop and support a winning procurement strategy alongside business development teams.
? Work with the Strategic Sourcing Team to obtain firm & budgetary pricing.
? Review client contractual requirements and create the Procurement Execution Plan.
? Align bidders' lists with Supply Chain Headquarters for optimal purchasing opportunities.
Execution Phase (Project Procurement Management): ? Implement the Project Procurement Strategy (PPS).
? Allocate budgets for packages, equipment, and services in collaboration with Project Control.
? Oversee supplier T&Cs negotiations in alignment with legal and contract teams.
? Conduct risk and opportunity assessments to mitigate procurement risks.
? Work closely with Engineering Project Managers (EPMs) to align deliverables.
? Monitor procurement activities, track progress, and lead weekly project procurement meetings.
? Ensure cost control and adherence to project schedules with zero carry-over work.
? Manage supplier invoices, approvals, and payment processes with Accounts Payable.
? Represent Supply Chain interests in client and project team meetings.
Other Responsibilities: ? Brainstorm and develop package standardization & optimization strategies with Strategic Sourcing.
? Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
? Drive continuous improvement through best practices and lessons learned.
What We're Looking For: ? 4+ years of technical procurement experience (preferably in Oil & Gas, EPCI, or FPSO projects).
? Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
? Experience in package engineering, manufacturing, integration, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
? Strong ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
? Proficiency in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and procurement execution.
? A strategic, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Minimize non-quality costs from premature supplier deliverable acceptance.
