Descrição da Função
Senior Financial Controller plays a key role in overseeing and controlling the financial management at both the corporate and subsidiary levels. This position is designed for a professional with strong analytical skills, capable of providing accurate financial reports and global financial planning strategies, as well as working closely with the IT department to implement and optimize financial systems. Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the company and its subsidiaries.
2. Supervision of general accounting and financial transactions across all subsidiaries.
3. Analysis of variances between budgets, results, and forecasts at the corporate and subsidiary levels.
4. Control and management of the company’s consolidated financial statements.
5. Coordination with external auditors and preparation of regulatory reports.
6. Financial strategic planning and forecasting in collaboration with subsidiaries and other departments.
7. Supervision of costs and profitability of the company and its subsidiary projects and activities.
8. Close collaboration with the IT team to implement and maintain ERP systems and other technological tools that optimize financial and accounting management.
9. Ensuring that IT solutions align with the company’s financial and operational goals.
Requirements:
1. University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, with experience managing finances at the subsidiary level.
3. Advanced knowledge of financial, accounting, and tax regulations, both locally and internationally.
4. Experience working with financial systems and ERP (Navision is a plus).
5. Basic IT knowledge and experience in implementing technological systems in financial processes.
6. Analytical skills and experience in making data-driven financial decisions.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
