We are looking for talented Business Analysts for Amazon Marketplace to join Amazon Marketplace Latin America team. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices.
The LATAM Business Analyst role requires someone that is creative, goal-oriented, has very strong analytical skills and the ability to work with quantitative and business teams. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be comfortable assessing and working with multiple sources to then define, and structure data for strategic decision-making. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoy learning and exploring new teams and data sources, and thrive while dealing with competing priorities when building new projects or improving on existing ones.
Key job responsibilities
-Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
- Work closely with the team to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making.
-Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
- Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis.
- Understand and write high quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.
Understand Seller processes and corresponding key metrics to drive insights.
- Understand how Seller processes match corresponding key metrics and Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity.
- Organize teams' requests and priorities.
- Partner with global business and product teams to guarantee data consistency and accuracy.
- Promote data-driving decision making throughout teams.
- Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders.
- Propose goals and additional metrics, track progress, and report on status of deliveries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- 2+ years of SQL or Python data manipulation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in English
