We are seeking an R&D Engineer II to join our team at Ansys. This role involves contributing to the development of our software products, which enable customers to simulate real-world physics and performance. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, maintaining, testing, and documenting software modules and sub-systems. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to research and develop solutions to complex problems. Additionally, understanding market requirements for a product is essential.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 2 years' experience or a Master's Degree with no experience required. Working experience with development methodologies and teamwork is necessary. Technical knowledge and experience with software development, numerical analysis, scripting languages, data structures, and algorithms are also required. Programming language skills in C++ and Python are essential, along with mathematics and algorithm expertise in linear algebra (matrices, vectors), interpolation, differentiation, and integration.
