This leadership role demands a hands-on individual with a strong FP&A background and the ability to effectively partner with operations teams to drive performance across our field operations and manufacturing teams, also interacting with other countries in Latin America.You will play a key role in delivering actionable financial insights for the operation, optimizing cost management, and ensuring financial alignment with overall business objectives in Latin America.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in business partnering, financial planning, manufacturing cost, controllership, treasury, taxes, internal controls, and asset management.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Lead the month closing process and annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for the Brazil operations, including field and manufacturing results.Provide in-depth financial analysis of operations performance, including cost structures and productivities, variances to forecast / plan / prior year, and profitability; to identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, with actionable insights for operational and senior leadership teams.Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability for operations.Business Partnering:Act as a trusted financial business partner to the Field and Manufacturing operation leadership team, providing strategic advice and financial insights to drive operational decision-making.Support operations leaders in making informed decisions related to capital expenditures, production and installation capacity, productivities and sales/margin expansion initiatives.Manufacturing Financial Oversight:Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs (direct and indirect), including labor, materials, overheads, and production efficiency, to ensure they align with budgeted targets.Support the development of cost-saving initiatives in areas such as production processes, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.Provide detailed financial reports and insights on key manufacturing metrics, such as cost per unit, throughput, yield, and inventory levels.Strategic Financial Leadership:Influence and collaborate with senior leadership to align the financial strategy with the company's growth goals and operational efficiency.Develop financial models and scenarios to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions related to new product launches, capacity expansion, and investments in manufacturing technology.Financial Governance & Compliance:Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.Oversee the financial reporting processes and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements for Brazil operations.Team Leadership & Development:Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, ensuring their professional development and alignment with organizational goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in an FP&A or business partnering role within a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders, particularly in manufacturing settings.Strong business acumen and ability to partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial results.In-depth knowledge of local Brazilian tax regulations, compliance, and financial reporting requirements.Advanced Excel skills (including financial modeling) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Oracle Hyperion Financial Management.Fluent English and advanced Spanish.
