Scope:
The Product Launch Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Product Launch Manager with maintenance of the New Product Launch Change Order / Discontinuation and Rationalisation Change Order process and related product data. This person will provide reporting, data analysis, support cross-functional projects/teams, and help develop the global processes for CooperVision.
Working primarily with global departments including Global Commercial Operations, Global Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial, this role covers the wider business and dependent change management processes within the global quality management system.
Job Summary:
The Product Launch Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Product Launch Manager in the global change management processes. This includes new product launches and product discontinuations. This role will be part of the Global Commercial Operations team liaising with key regional marketing stakeholders supporting the New Product Launch Process.
The role assists in the oversight of cross-functional teams and sites who provide input to the change management processes with a focus on developing metrics and communications to support continual improvement. The supporting work will include data analysis, project management, and process improvements. Providing justification and recommendations to the line manager to drive efficiencies in the processes. Working within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) to utilize change management processes, provide guidance/training, and help define best practices.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
Reporting and Data Analysis:
1. Regularly provides status and updates to management regarding the status of the New Product Launch Process.
2. Compile and submit regular monitoring reports covering key performance indicators to ensure product launch progress.
3. Provide input and insight to global supply chain performance and business management processes.
4. Support Commercial Product Launch Manager to provide input and insight to global marketing on performance and alignment to strategy.
5. Monitor change management activity, compliance with operating procedures, and quality standards to ensure that regulatory requirements are adhered to.
Project Management:
1. Acts as the product launch representative and participates with cross-functional teams on projects.
2. Support priority customer launches, coordinating operations activities to achieve customer timelines.
3. Communicates information effectively to and from other departments with the product launch teams.
4. Provides project management support to the Global Commercial groups.
Process Improvement and Root Cause Investigation:
1. Support the Product Launch Managers working with Commercial and Operations organizations to ensure the on-time execution of all work related to launches.
2. Assists with the planning and coordination of launch activities between the local and regional marketing teams.
3. Identify opportunities for improvement within the global change management processes. With guidance, leads cross-functional projects in support of improvement initiatives in the commercial organization.
4. In the event of a product launch issue, establish the cause, report, and ensure a prompt and effective response.
Training and Support:
1. Assists in providing product launch training and process support for employees globally.
2. Influence Product Launch teams toward improvement.
3. Under the direction of the Commercial Product Launch Manager, creates and reviews opportunities to document processes for consistency in the Global Commercial Operations team.
4. Performs other assignments related to the department as directed by leadership.
5. Adheres to corporate procedures, policies, documentation requirements and recommends/develops continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Shares experience and knowledge to drive collective Commercial Launch manager capability.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.
6. Familiar with project management techniques.
7. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Agile (EQMS) preferred.
8. Able to learn skills to support continuous improvement, change management, and employee teams.
9. Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
10. Demonstrates poise under pressure, able to deal with tense or high-pressure situations with even temperament and in a professional manner.
Work Environment
1. Mixed Normal office environment and Remote working.
2. 10% Domestic / International Travel.
Experience
1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience with change management required.
2. Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or other).
3. Demonstrates familiarity with project management skills.
4. Experience in a global role (dealing with organizations around the world).
Education
1. Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
2. Quickness of comprehension and aptitude for learning.
