In this role you will coordinate and direct fixed-duration activities to ensure that goals or objectives are met within the specified time, budget and project objectives.Key Accountabilities
- Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in Arco Norte. Technically evaluate construction and assembly plans and strategies, solve construction and assembly problems. Monitor project progress, assess issues, and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Review the status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules and prepare status reports. Coordinate operational aspects of assigned projects. Promote and support the integration and adherence to corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment and utilities. Collaborate with regional domain leads to support domain-specific expertise on constructionprojects. Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to the appropriate team.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Strong previous experience with port, mining and industrial construction projectsDesirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate in Project Management
- PMP certification
- Advanced English
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in operations with challenging aspects of environmental health and safety
- Experience managing third-party resources to deliver business results
- Knowledge of the company's environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to construction projects and construction safety
