**JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify challenges and provide solutions when building features
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js
- Update and improve upon existing lambda functions written in node.js/express
- Create new services leveraging AWS products to support new and existing features
- Document and present end to end solutions based on product requirements
- Ensure features function in all supported environments based on specs and design
**REQUIRED**SKILLS**
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript on both server and client side environments
- A solid understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as hooks and state management patterns)
- Experience making web services written in node.js
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Experience with noSQL databases
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with GIT version control
**PREFERRED**SKILLS**
- DynamoDB
- Experience with Styled components
- Express.js
- End to end Testing and integration
- Use of 3d web libraries like three.js
**General Responsibilities**
**Flexibility**: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
