**About the job**:
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey.
From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base.
This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more.
In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As the Regional Artist Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead for YouTube Shorts in Latin America and Canada, you will be responsible for setting and driving YouTube's regional Shorts and Artist marketing programs and scaling global campaigns.
You will develop, project manage, and roll-out YouTube initiatives and programs impacting video and music creators and artists across the region.
Your work will be instrumental in developing the YouTube Shorts and Artist community in the region, inspiring more creators and artists to use Shorts and consider YouTube as a platform for growing their audience and expressing their creativity.
You'll track the performance of our marketing campaigns to help clarify what's working, and how we can continually improve our marketing execution and increase our artist and Shorts creator base over time.
Know the user.
Know the magic.
Connect the two.
At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways.
Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental.
And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
**Responsibilities**:
- Direct Shorts and Artist marketing programs and scale global marketing campaigns in the region, which includes Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and Spanish-speaking Latin America.
- Conceptualize, structure, and deliver Shorts and Artist marketing campaigns and events from concept, to pilot, to scaling-up.
- Work cross-functionally with YouTube Global Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Public Relations, and Product to understand organizational priorities and drive the highest return marketing initiatives.
- Synthesize creator, music artist, Generation Z, and Shorts/short-form video trends, behaviors, and needs into insightful reports and presentations that are actionable.
- Establish close working relationships with YouTube creators, artists/musicians, labels, and managers in the region and globally.
