If you have an engineering degree, previous experience as a director, knowledge of Data Center asset control, Control Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Cross functional Engineering, and leadership of cross-functional teams, this opportunity is for you.What you’ll be doingManage a cross-functional team which provides Asset Management expertise, Project Controls expertise as well as escalated site support for critical facility infrastructure when required.Ensure that the team is working safely, effectively, and with high regard to human error avoidance.Provide strategic guidance and direction to drive team results.Lead and implement resources to complete projects as required.Manage the team to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards, KPIs, and SLAs.Ensure correct processes are followed and all documentation is complete.What we’ll expect from youBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Mechanical or Automation.Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus.Solid previous experience in leading, inspiring, and developing your team of critical facility subject matter experts.Maintain strong working relationships with assigned site locations.Maintain and improve Continuous Improvement processes and culture.Direct the reporting of key performance indicators.Previous experience in managing critical facility disciplines.Knowledgeable in critical facility engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Technical expertise in critical power and cooling systems, life safety, and environmental compliance.Additional DetailsAbility to participate in regular meetings across time zones.
