Overview:
The Platform Owner - Integration is a critical technical leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, technical oversight, and operational management of the enterprise integration platform. This role ensures the platform’s reliability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance, enabling seamless data flow and automation across the organization. The Platform Owner collaborates closely with business stakeholders, architects, development teams, and other IT teams to align the platform with business objectives and drive continuous improvement. This individual must possess a deep understanding of integration technologies, patterns, and best practices, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Define and implement a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for the integration platform, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
2. Provide deep technical expertise on the integration platform, including its architecture, components, functionalities, and integrations.
3. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across the organization to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure the platform aligns with those needs.
4. Manage and maintain the integration platform, ensuring its availability, performance, scalability, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Define, implement, and enforce governance processes, standards, and best practices for platform development, deployment, usage, and security.
6. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, methodologies, and tools to optimize the platform's performance, scalability, and security and drive innovation.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth around the platform.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a technical lead or manager in an integration environment.
3. Deep understanding of integration technologies, patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, event-driven), and best practices.
4. Experience with iPaaS solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP BTP Integration Suite), API management platforms, and message queues.
5. Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
7. Fluency in English.
Additional Skills (Beneficial):
1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
2. Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design principles.
3. Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
4. Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
5. Experience with SQL and noSQL databases.
6. Proficiency with Java and other relevant programming languages.
