**JOB SCOPE**:
Support and management of local site infrastructure in Powertrain Moelnlycke plant and in Clean-Air Arendal plant and to assist as directed to support other sites within their region.
**IS RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Supports Incident and Request Management submitted through IT Service management system per service level objectives.
- Reports issues through service desk tools and follows-up through enterprise team and / or vendors for critical and high issues tracking and escalating until closure.
- Supports Enterprise IT teams in additional troubleshooting and maintaining Server, Network (WAN & LAN), Monitoring UPS and Switches, Backup Environment and external vendors.
- Supports Refresh Program, proposes and seeks approvals. Follows Asset Retiring Process.
- Accurately logs problems and their associated resolutions into IT Service management system.
- Maintain Infrastructure and Information Systems standards in a consistent way across their site(s).
- Ensure that the Infrastructure Budgets for the site for which they are responsible are controlled effectively.
- Ensure that any issues related to Standards are reflected to the owning group.
- Ensure that Virus Protection and Patch Management is maintained across their site(s).
- Ensure that accurate documentation, asset management and software licensing is provided across their site(s).
- Ensure that Disaster Recovery plans are developed, tested and maintained according to defined standards across their site(s).
- Ensure that Server performance is monitored and managed according to defined standards.
- Ensure that backups are completed correctly.
- Work with other IS staff to ensure that Sarbanes-Oxley requirements are fully met at their site(s).
- Work with other IS staff to ensure that all Internal/external audits are supported at their site(s).
- Manage and maintain the printers within their site(s).
- Ensure site server rooms are managed and maintained in accordance to company policies and standards.
- Follows Change Management processes and Critical communication processes during outages and changes.
- Actively participate in Local, Regional and Global team meetings, to understand business requirements, team progress and work on action plans per committed timelines.
- Supports in providing IT Infrastructure cost for AOP Preparation and tracks spending monthly within the financial limits.
- Participates in Monthly Service Level reviews, Continuous Improvement and exercises deep problem solving to avoid repeat issues.
- Proactively supports all critical equipment and end user capacity management issues by archiving or upgrading the infrastructure.
- Supports Entitlement processes for end users access request.
- Provides user with training and communications on IS policies, procedures and technology.
- Assists the IS Service Manager to ensure a consistent approach is maintained.
- Other duties as assigned.
**PLANT SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop IT-solutions to support industrial business customer specific requirements for quality and logistic data upload (TRUST).
- Ownership for plant unique & critical IT infrastructure (PLC & data communication) for older machinery/automation systems being obsolete for support from outside/ secure back-up solutions in case of failures.
- Set up and execute digitalization strategy for simplification/improved efficiency for the sites.
- Support, manage and own internal plant communication platform.
- Manage shop floor visual mgmt. projects-Power BI to support P3 implementation in Moelnlycke and Arendal.
- Manage & Simplify data transfer from local systems to corporate by developing IT solutions through EDI or other means
- Assists with the management of projects on site as required.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, SMS / SCCM, Microsoft Outlook is a plus. Additional experience with RF technology is a plus.
- Working knowledge in multiple architecture domains (technology, data etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering on Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development.
