Presently, an excellent career opportunity is available for an Inside Sales Manager within Honeywell UOP's Latin America Customer Sales Organization.
This position will have accountability in the Refining, Petrochemical, Sustainable Technologies, Natural Gas and Adsorbent industries and will preferably be based in São Paulo - Rio de Janeiro will also be considered.
In this position, you will be responsible for driving sales for specific business segments throughout Latin America.
You will support the Latin American Sales Organization with internal orders processing and coordination with the corresponding internal areas for a flawless execution.
You will achieve increased sales targets from existing business lines aligned with business initiatives.
You will work in cross-functional teams to eliminate barriers to sales success.
You will drive new customer leads to outside sales.
You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems.
You will support the deployment of the business strategy by analyzing sales statistics and business needs to provide recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support front line Account Managers with specific catalyst and/or adsorbent pursuits, including forecasting in SFDC, and engaging clients directly as necessary.
- Directly handle client inquiries and transactions for repeat orders of makeup catalyst and adsorbents
- Directly handle new client inquiries for small quantity requests of catalyst and/or adsorbents, and requests for samples.
- Respond to and qualify Leads generated by inquiries on UOP website.
- Provide support for legal document drafting (including NDA's, proposals, and Agreements), legal review/negotiation, and Agreement execution for Clients in the region
- Support development of forecasts of product demand and revenue (for refining, petrochemical, and adsorbents) from any pertinent accounts 36 months into the future.
- Manage customer relationships and coverage by sharing information with front line Account Mangers and assist in developing account plans throughout UOP.
- With defined opportunities, lead proposal submission as necessary, close deals, work with order management, production planning and service to make, deliver and service the product.
- Support Business and Technology functions by providing market and competitor intelligence, where appropriate.
- Support Business and Contact growth at past Customers with no recent UOP purchases in years
- Report and work with internal resources to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain all internal work and sales processes, e.g.
customer relation management tools (SFDC and SAP).
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- 3 or more years of direct product sales and/or sales support experience, or customer care/logistics support, is preferred
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to work cohesively with other sales colleagues and sales support functions.
- Spanish and English for professional communication.
**WE VALUE**:
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering desirable, but familiarity with refining/petchem operations is sufficient.
- Demonstrated ability to sell into a competitive marketplace and achieve premium prices by communicating the value achieved by the customer using UOP products and services.
- Experience with adsorption/treating, reforming, isomerization and hydroprocessing is considered ideal.
- Experience using SalesForce.Com (SFDC) is preferred.
- A strong customer and business focus is desired.
