**Job summary**:
This role is responsible for the daily operations and makes sure that the team maintains the agreed service level agreements to different stakeholders and partners.
It is also responsible for leading various projects as needed by the department.
Liaises with other team members in generating and developing a project plan capable of achieving results.
The Senior Team Leader is encouraged to prioritize and scope own projects.
Drive and lead the end-to-end process of the projects, and communicate results to stakeholders independently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for the collection activities of the department: analyze, monitor and report on partner payment trends
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in commercial and finance operations teams
- Responsible for identifying and hiring talent to support the team objectives.
- Counsel to drive improvements in the team.
- Establish positive relationships across the Finance community, utilizing the network to share best practices and drive efficiency in processes
- Work with team and stakeholders to provide business support and drive process improvements.
Provide business support on a range of ad-hoc/cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Implement and execute company policies and procedures and setting priorities
- Assure strong quality as well as efficiency standards of the team
- Monitors current and incoming workload for the team and ensures an even distribution of tasks/responsibilities.
Assures high quality as well as efficiency standards within the team.
Decision maker in regard to escalations.
- Track and monitor performance levels and manage underperformance.
- Conduct 1-2-1 and team meetings to maintain focus and motivation.
- Prepare and conduct biannual performance reviews and keep track of progress during the year.
- Supervise and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable output.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with resources
- Provide input when defining the team OKR/KPI/SLAs in cooperation with the team and Sr/Finance Operations Manager.
- Manage and achieve departmental OKR/KPI/SLAs in line with the business strategy.
- Build strong relationships with other departments within the company
- Be involved in the management and execution of ad hoc projects where required
- Analyzing key trends and variances, and leading production of monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reporting to the Sr/Finance Managers and stakeholders.
**Required Skills**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or related field
- Minimum 2 years of management experience required
- Background in Finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present, make decisions and gain consensus with a large group
- A good people motivator with management experience
- Ability to proactively drive the assigned projects and reach the preset objectives
- Able to operate effectively in a complex environment with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Excellent team work skills
