Position Summary
The Trade Development Manager Distributor Authorized Coordinator (DAC) at Monster Energy will manage, shipments, depletions, revenue, activities and relationships with bottler locals Authorized Distributors (DA) in the assigned territory. The main role is to develop Monster business at interior of Brazil where normally bottler DA are located. The DAC will be a leader who is responsible for conceiving a targeted business strategy to drive corporate strategic objectives to tactical execution. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented, sales/negotiation experience, revenue-focused, execution skills and the ability to develop strong relationships and manage a growth-oriented sale
Essential Job Functions
* Manage relationships with the Distributors and some Customers in the assigned territory. The DAC will also be ultimately responsible for market execution in the territory in Trade.
* Maximize the sale and distribution of all company products in the assigned region through the establishment and appropriate execution of local and national sales programs. Responsible for the evaluate and act on value chain by channel of each DA.
* Train and coach the distributor/ Bottlers sales force to engage them with the Monster brand and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve customer support, including supply chain efficiencies, opportunities of POS materials and Coolers/Displays to be implemented.
* Ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies and achieve shipments, depletions, profit and market share objectives.
* Monitor market/retailer activity to develop the most cost-effective strategies in order to drive volume and profitability through increased penetration and promotion.
* Develop, manage and/or maximize partnerships to drive improved performance. Develop and use objective tools, information and feedback in order to establish region and area performance goals and results.
* Conduct business performance reviews with distributors/Bottlers in order to track, monitor and adjust efforts and produce desired outcomes in all key business segments.
* Work closely with National Sales and Regional Account Management Teams to understand and communicate customer programs and activities that impact their respective market. Receive agreed sales information, doing the weekly follow up of shipments, depletion, Coverage, portfolio availability.
* Act daily in the market in partnership with the DA`s sales team (morning meetings, market visit and meetings with the main costumers). Conceptualize and apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the region.
* Develop and execute promotional programs and activities with key partners. Keep abreast and report on products, category, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
Position Requirements
* Associate or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or another related field.
* 5 years of Demonstrated sales experience in a hand-on sales environment, Retail, wholesaler or distributor sales environment.
* Advance user of Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point - Experience in developing presentations and analyzing results.
* Ability to communicate and establish relationships at various hierarchical levels.
* Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses to work independently.
