The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Regional Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Divert's facilities operate safely and sustainably.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
* Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Develop and mentor facility team members to enhance their effectiveness as safety leaders.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company metrics, communicating information to site teams and leadership.
* Provide safety expertise for engineering and design, supporting deliberate improvement efforts to enhance overall EHS program performance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or related field.
* At least 8 years of experience in EHS, with increasing roles of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, work environments, and procedures.
* Knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards.
* Experience developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and training from the ground up.
