**Finance Advisor Brazil**
**What's the role?
**
Business Finance and Group ensuring Shell Brazil's processes and controls are designed and operating effectively.
The Finance Advisor Brazil will report to the Country Controller and will be accountable for:
- Lead technical accounting discussions to support the business that require a certain level of business intimacy as well as good understanding of relevant tax and IFRS accounting guidelines and legislation.
- Lead cross functions projects in an accounting perspectives.
- Provide input and data verification to the Annual Statutory Report.
- Manage the Accounts and financial administration of subsidiaries.
- Provide responses to the tax office requiring country specific business insight and in depth accounting understanding.
- Coordinate external auditor's requirements.
- Host Internal Audits when applicable.
**Requirements**:
**_ What we need from you - _**
- Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
- Very good leadership skills including participation on multifunctional teams
- Continuous improvement and simplification mindset.
Must have strong written and verbal skills and work effectively with diverse, multidiscipline teams with individual contributors and leaders from all levels of the organization
- The ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Behaviors expected are: Demonstrates courage, Leadership skills & Interpersonal Effectiveness, High Ethical Standards & Personal Integrity
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese
