**Position Purpose**
**Venture Lead**
- What's the role?_
As Venture Lead, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Developing Commercial strategies, providing commercial advice to the business, and developing and maintaining Commercial agreements
- Managing Commercial aspects of Shell Ventures - Operations and Non operations assets
- Partnering with external stakeholders
- Engaging commercial opportunities
- Working closely with Business Unit
- Lead or participate in new business development portfolio
- Support the Venture Manager in building the Commercial Asset view for the Assets.
- Manage the approval process for all Operating Committee decisions (Ballots)
- Ensure compliance with Group standards and policies
- Add value through effective networking with key internal and external stakeholders
- Regular interaction with gas and oil evacuation teams, legal, NBD, P&T, BOMs, HSSE, finance, tax, etc.
- Regular interactions with partners and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Contracts (JOA, PSC, Concession, etc).
- The peers in this role include:
- Other commercial managers
- P&T members in areas including projects, sub-surface developments and well engineering
- Advisors in key support functions such as legal, finance, HSSE and tax

What we need from you
- Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Legal or any related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese
- Knowledgeable in Venture Management
- Must be knowledgeable in Mergers and Acquisitions
- Understanding in corporate governance
- Good understanding of oil & gas commercial environment
- Good project management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Has a commercial mindset
- Experience with value chain, finance, and value opportunities
- Contract agreement ad legal documents
- Strong ability to prioritize own activities and work effectively under periodic peaks of time pressure such as may result from partner/stakeholder demands or at time of deal closure
- High level of motivation, cultural sensitivity, diligence, perseverance, and emotional resilience
