As a Strategic Business Analyst, you will work closely with the CEO and business development team on new and current business.
For new business you will be responsible for analysing data, conducting market benchmarking, digesting the opportunity and highlighting strengths and weaknesses, showcasing ROI and supporting decision making around market entries and partnerships deals.
For ongoing business you will be responsible for monitoring KPIs,identifying trends and highlighting the asset of the business to ensure strong investments, ROI and profitability.
Your analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and business acumen will contribute to driving growth, profitability, and overall success for the organisation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions, strategies, and performance improvements.
- Business Case Development: Develop comprehensive business cases to support decision making.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about market trends to identify opportunities or changes in markets that might impact ongoing business.
- Support the Commercial teams with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and analysis as well as quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting exercises
- Conduct adhoc analysis, based on hypotheses that might comeup from data insights or input from commercial teams.
- Monitoring key performance metrics in accordance with set targets, primarily revenues, acquisitions, and player activity.
A key part of this task is to forecast and flag underperforming metrics to the appropriate stakeholders.
Financial Analytics - update the management team on budget targets, reporting on which metrics and brands are over/underperforming.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and accuracy by working with BI and other relevant departments across the organization.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders outside the Commercial area, such as Business Intelligence and Financial Control.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business needs, promote collaboration, and ensure successful outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a business analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements gathering methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau.
- Ability to use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
- Experience in iGaming.
- Experience in venture capital or M&A is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
