Supply Chain Manager, RMT North Americas will be responsible for building a solid RMT Logistics and Planning Department for the RMT operation of North Americas. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for implementing global systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement local logistics strategies aligned with global RMT objectives to optimize the supply chain, distribution processes, and overall operational efficiency.
* Oversee the planning and coordination of all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment, ensuring that operational needs are met in a cost-effective manner.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics and planning operations into the broader business strategy, ensuring smooth execution of projects and timely delivery of services.
* Monitor and analyze key operational performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in logistics, implementing corrective actions and process improvements where necessary.
* Lead and mentor the logistics, operations and planning team, driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and proactive problem-solving within the department.
* Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations, industry standards, and company policies to mitigate risk and maintain operational integrity.
* Optimize resource allocation to improve operational effectiveness, including overseeing the management of transportation fleets, warehousing capacity, and inventory turnover.
* Establish and maintain robust reporting and forecasting processes to improve accuracy in planning, cost control, and operational readiness.
