As our **CI Manager of our **Campos dos Goytacazes** site**, you will report to the Site Director and you will be a member of the Corbion Integrated Continuous Improvement (CiCi) group.
You will work closely with site leadership team and interact with the global CI community.
In this position you will have a key role in implementing a change of culture and enabling the plant as a learning organization.
To make this happen you need to be able to influence multiple and diverse stakeholders at all levels in the organization without direct authority.
The main challenge for you will be to shape the continuous improvement journey in Campos, introducing, developing, executing and maintaining Continuous Improvement mindset, tools and techniques, integrating them with all operational activities at the site.
You will do regular assessments related to performance, practices and people; and create a plan together with the local leadership team to improve where needed.
You'll connect to and coach the leadership team towards a Continuous Improvement culture, making sure the culture change sticks.
Furthermore this role is focused on:
- Local management of Continuous Improvement (CI) roll-out and implementation across all levels of the organization and deliver tangible results in our site in Campos dos Goytacazes.
- Assure quality consistency across site and that local CI improvement projects and initiatives are executed according to CI methodology.
- Develop CI mindset, practices and internal trainer capabilities through training, mentoring and coaching of, but not limited to, local CI leads, site leadership team, team leads, practice implementation leads and CI trainers.
- In partnership with other site LT members define, develop and implement CI initiatives as well as monitor and coach improvement project teams, with a results driven mindset.
- Facilitate Site Steering Committee.
- Report on site CI progress, provide CI year plan components and connect with the site plan.
- Actively share local best practices with other sites and regions.
- Develop self-sustainable CI capabilities on the site and perform regular reassessment
- Maintain local CI software (TRACC) users authorization.
- Lead the plant wide cost savings program to meet annual targets.
This includes identification, validation, coaching and execution of projects( in terms of timelines, budget and resources).
- Actively monitor risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
- Facilitate the establishment and maintenance of plant KPI's and visual management tools and Identify trends and process variations.
- Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes, identification of better ways of working and elimination of wastes.
**About you**
You have/are:
- Educational background on engineering or chemical technology, BSc, MSc or comparable.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in operations
- Minimum 3 years proven continuous improvement experience from a similar role.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt with proven experience
- Advanced English (oral and written).
- Experience in hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean Six Sigma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners
- Excellent coaching, stakeholder and change management skills
- Project management skills
