Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
2. Manage payables and ensure timely payments
3. Process payroll-related entries and maintain accuracy
4. Prepare tax returns with attention to detail
5. Analyze the taxability of employee benefits, especially for corporations
6. Maintain and update the chart of accounts
7. Collaborate with our Implementation team to deliver high-quality services and meet client expectations
8. Support the Chief Visionary with tasks and special projects
9. Communicate effectively with clients through positive phone interactions
Requirements
1. 2-5 years of accounting experience (desired)
2. Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (experience takes precedence)
3. Familiarity with Apple computers (a plus)
4. Proficiency in email communication and Microsoft Office
5. Strong relational skills, patience, and a desire to work closely with clients
6. Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills
7. A passion for growth, learning, and continuous improvement
