About the Job
A Software Engineering Manager oversees strategic projects, manages engineers across multiple teams and locations, and deploys large-scale projects internationally. This role requires technical and leadership expertise, as well as a clear vision and strategy for the team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of software engineers and create an inclusive and safe environment that enables them to thrive.
* Lead the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.
* Provide a clear vision and strategy for the team.
* Support career development of team members, and be a good coach.
The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects, with 2 years of experience in a supervision/team leadership role. A Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a technical related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems is also desired.
